Arrival in John Person
After a frenetic start to my travels involving my laptop being 'accidentally' taken by a fellow traveller on the shuttle bus to DFW airport (it was recovered after a chase around the terminals) I have arrived safely in Joao Passoa. Which really is a strange name for a town (see title). Hotel is great - an ocean view, large pool and Guarana in the fridge. Circles are the future of hotel design. The reception was great, complete with chickeny cornbread things (as I believe the Portugese translates into). Sampled some Caipirinha de Maracuja (fruity cocktail) and am now ready for sleep before the first day of talks. Looking forward to it!
